The red carpet outside Westwood\u2019s Regency Village theater required industry insiders and A-listers to show proof of full vaccination and a negative PCR test before watching the movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The \u201cSpider-Man\u201d crew certainly has cause to celebrate as Holland\u2019s sixth outing as the friendly neighborhood web-slinger has opened to rave reviews from fans and is on pace to earn more than $240 million at the box office this weekend. The Sony-Marvel movie already\u00a0shattered records with a $50 million haul\u00a0in its Thursday night previews and\u00a0a $121.5 million opening day, the second highest in the history of the domestic box office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is forging ahead with its plans for the world premiere of \u201cThe Matrix Resurrections\u201d and an open-air after-party on Saturday night in San Francisco.
