We were anticipating gathering together in person. However, given the uncertainties around the impact this current COVID-19 variant will have on our community, the prudent decision for BAFTA and our attendees is to delay resuming these large-scale events in Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">U.K. BAFTA events, including the\u00a075th BAFTA\u00a0Film Awards on<span class=\"w8qArf\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"LrzXr kno-fv wHYlTd z8gr9e\">March 13, 2022,\u00a0<\/span>BAFTA TV\u00a0Craft\u00a0Awards\u00a0on April 24 and\u00a0BAFTA TV Awards on May 8,\u00a0are currently still going forward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div id=\"adm-inline-article-ad-1\" class=\"admz\">\n<div class=\"adma boomerang\" data-device=\"Desktop\" data-width=\"300\">\n<div class=\"pmc-adm-boomerang-pub-div ad-text\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">News of the cancellation comes on the heels of a rapid spike in COVID cases worldwide. Most recently, United Artist Releasing postponed the Dec. 16 premiere of \u201cCyrano\u201d at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures \u201cout an abundance of caution given the changing COVID landscape,\u201d the studio said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tom Holland\u2019s camp informed guests who attended his VIP party in Los Angeles following last week\u2019s premiere of \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home,\u201d that one of the attendees tested positive a couple of days later. Holland also nixed his surprise appearances at Los Angeles theaters on the movie\u2019s opening night due, in part, to COVID concerns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The BAFTA Tea is an annual affair at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills that takes place on the Saturday afternoon before the Golden Globes.
